Crews Battle Forest Fire In Pulaski County

Dry conditions led to a forest fire in Pulaski County, even though the fall fire season hasn't officially started.

A crew of firefighters from Oklahoma and Arkansas spent all day Monday battling the fire near the Tateville area of Pulaski County after it grew to more than fifty acres.

Even though the fire is now under control, the out-of-state crew plans to stick around for another week because of the extremely dry conditions.

50 acres sounds like an IA fire. Fires of this size happen daily in california during peak fire season.
I assume those were USFS crews they must be bored in the midwest. Its not like staging for a redflag warning from hot dry santa ana winds.
