Public Safety Exam?

Im about to take a Public safety exam for Boise Idaho. Ive heard you can send your results to other depts. What should i expect to see on this test? What is the best way to prepare for Public Safety. I've taken a few civil service type tests are they similiar?

The test is really pretty reading comprehension, basic math, and a personality profile. You get a free basic study guide when you register to test (they mail it to you) You can also get an enhanced 100 question/answer study guide for $20 which helped my score the 2nd time around.
