I just attempted to go to the E-Grant application and received an a error that the certificate expired. Is anyone else getting this message?

My concern is that there could be some sort of hack going on.

Actually, it can be a biggie. But as long as DHS is aware of the issue and no one else has had a problem. A failed certificate could mean you are not going to the web site you think you are. Which means it could have been hijacked, or is suffering from what we cal a Cross Site Scripting problem.

I've gotten the same message last few days. Click continue and it goes to the login page.

Happened last year about the same time as well.

Looks like the problem has been corrected. No error message about certificate expiration.

Based on edjumacated guess from the computer world I used to live in, they have a server farm up there to handle the mass amounts of traffic. So it could be an incorrect date on one of the routing servers that has expired which is why it only happens every now and again to some people. It has the server name listed on the top left of the logon screen. And when I login from the phone it actually runs slow enough to show the IP address of the server routing the HTTP request. Nothing to worry about, things are secure. :)
