Ok so Im totally confused, it states in San Franciscos application that all misdameanors that are sealed ,expunged, need not be repored on your back ground. Is this the way the city works? Or is each department different, I was toled that there was no such thing as an expunged record, well acording to SF there is, can anyone shed some light here?

THere is NO such thing as an expunged record. That is for a department who is interested in looking into a candidate's past.

The city of San Francisco prides itself on being different than everywhere else. Follow the directions on the application......

I'm with Chief Lepore on this. They would like you to follow the directions on filling out your packet. I know that it has been said"put down all of your information" however...this time you need to do as they ask.
