I have been thinking about going through a paramedic progrom. Ive made alot of excuses being worried about money failing and jobs. I know my chances of getting hired with a paramedic will go up a ton but was just looking for anyone especially those experts in getting a job or hiring for fire de[artments. I am worried because I have a had a few jobs that are for a long period and then Ive went through a few jobs over a 2 yr period in which my salary greatly increased each time. Im worried that if I quit or go part time for a paramedic program will it make my resume look bad even if its for education? Its also helpful if people know of grantsor scholarships for a Paramedic.

I am 25 and did my medic program when I was 23. I had a full time job and talked with the boss and they worked with me, but eventually had to quit and claimed unenjoyment. My medic prgm was mon/wed at night and every other sat. The bottom line is if you are serious you have to do it and nobody will question that during any hiring process. I may have only made like 15K that year with low wages, but I got my medic and now its over and I am that much further ahead. If you keep putting it off it will never get done. Education can never be taken away. Good luck.
