saw where the hr has posted the FF II position on the website finally, but it says open until filled with no closing date. Does anybody know if that means they are planning a hiring process or are just continously taking applications with no set hire date. Figured some one in this post might have some info. Also good job on the website.

The Firefighter position is always open and they are always taking applications. Have said that there is talk of a new recruit class be hired. If HR has it posted on the county site then they are accepting applications and "should" be hiring "soon".
