I am looking at getting ESS Goggles, and am wondering if anyone has used these? Or what you recommend for eye protection?

The ESS goggles seem to work fine, it's what I carry. Admittedly, I very rarely use them - a good pair of sunglasses works fine most of the time.

i've found my ESS goggles work quite well for when in heavy smoke, most of the rest of the time I wear Bullard "Rage" safety sunglasses (amber and mirrored)

SCBA facepiece and some safety glasses for extrication. Haven't seen the need of having the goggles.

Didn't realize this is wildland firefighting. So disregard my last post on it. Sorry :D

ESS innerzone 2 goggles work great for wildland firefighting and keeping the ash and smoke out. Our department does structural firefighting and rescue/extrication also and the goggles made my face sweat so much I couldn't see for my eyes burning. So I removed some of the foam on some of the vents so air would flow in a little more.

ESS goggles are the way to go, they give really good protection from smoke / particulate. Cleanup of these gogles is easy and some styles even have tearoffs. I've been using these for 3 years without an issue.
