Champaign IL testing

I am taking my test on the 18th of this month. Anyone else going to be involved in this process also. Or anyone that work for this department that i could ask some questions.

Hey i really want to be a paid firefighter i will go where ever i need to try and get hire on plus it is kinda close to where i am from.

Have you taken the test before? And if so how many people usually test?

I have not taken the test before. I couldn't tell you how many people usually test, we'll just have to wait and see. I'm from the Quincy, IL area.. if you are familiar with it? About half hour north of Hannibal, MO.

I am taking the test to. I also was wondering how many people will take it. Does anyone know how many they may be hiring.

I took my test and think i did rather well but i guess we will see. I didn't like the part that they said they didn't have any plans on hiring anyone. I guess we will just have to wait and see.

I can't believe how many people were there for that test. I am from up north and I didn't think there would be close to 400-600 there for the test. Most departments when they test aren't actively hiring people. They would have to have someone retire or quit right when they were testing which doesn't always happen.
