It looks like both of these departments have opened up the hiring process. Does anyone have any info on either of these? How many are they hiring? What is there process?
Thanks

Edmond is hiring 4 I believe. It would be good to have your Basic. Stillwater I believe you have to be an EMT-I to get into the process. Best of luck

I heard 8, but don't know where exactly this number came from. Also heard, EFD is expecting 700 + applicants.

Yeah. I went down to Edmond on Friday, and there were many filling out there application there. Most of them looked fresh out of High School.

I have been assigned an applicant ID# in the low 300s. I don't know if the applicant IDs were assigned by the numerical order by which you applied, but if thats true, thats about 1/2 of what i was told would apply.
PS: I turned in my application Friday, April 17 in the morning.

They do not require a basic. It just would be good to have.

I got a call from stillwater I have an interview next tuesday. Little nervous though I dont know much about this apartment. All I did was fill out my app and I got an interview no written no phyiscal aleast yet. Kinda of a different process. I think having my PM card helped. Does anyone know anything about stillwater like how much they plan to hire? Do they hold there own academy?
