Congrats Brian !!!

Brian P. Vickers of Katy, Texas, is a 16-year veteran and currently with the Westlake Volunteer Fire Department in Houston, Texas, and a Harley-Davidson enthusiast. Vickers was thrilled to receive the keys to a custom, one-of-a-kind Harley-Davidson® Fat Boy® Firefighter Special Edition motorcycle at a special ceremony held today at the D.C. Fire and EMS Department, Engine 3 firehouse in Washington, D.C. Vickers’ entry was one of nearly 12,000 received during the three-month sweepstakes.
“I still can’t believe that I’ve won. It’s an amazing machine and I can’t wait to take it on a ride,” said Vickers. “It’s really great that this sweepstakes helps such a worthy cause which is why I entered in the first place. The work of the NFFF is so important. My wife and I are big believers
in higher education, and we’re especially impressed by the scholarships the Foundation provides to surviving family members.”

Congrats Brian.

What better bonus could you ask for after all of the hard work done on AFG applications this year.:)

Thanks. Fat guy now has a Fat Boy. :) wife is happy, with it being one of a kind going to keep the mileage off of it, use it for parades and awareness events like it was meant to do. Definitely not a commuter machine, especially on I-10.

It's wandering around the country for a few weeks so I don't get to see it until July myself.

Congratulations for winning what was supposed to be MY Fatboy... I bought $100 worth of tickets when they first became available, because the NFFF is such a good cause, but then when I saw the bike in Indy , I bought another $100 worth... At least the donation is a good tax right-off! Congrats, again, Brian!

I just did it for the scholarship fund since the textbook I got asked to work on benefits NFFF also. As I said yesterday, I don't win things like this. ;)

Some of the Red Knights had some sweet rides there too. They have the rally here in DC this weekend, wish I had the helmet but bike is heading to the Hog Rally in Wisconsin June 17-8. Apparently 1 lucky Asst Chief up there is riding it in the parade. Think it's coming to A&M school in July then might make Houston. Not worried too much, that delays the registration & sales tax payment...

Thanks guys. Luckily they are taking a couple of weeks to get it here, forgot how much stuff I had piled in the garage. Need to make room for the important things. :) Need to find the helmet too, can't remember where I put that after moving so much.
