I am looking for the OSHA reg. number for the 2 in 2 out and where I can obtain a copy of the requirements on the web or by other means.

You may also want to check out NFPA 1710 it has some interesting language on IRIT and RIT teams.

29 CFR 1910.134 is as previously posted the regulation, but it's helpful to also see the final rule posted in the federal register. It has a lot of the discussion that took place before adoption, although it is pretty long.

NFPA 1500 is a lot more specific than NFPA 1710 & 1720 and is the basis for the regulation in for the most part.

The IAFF has a useful commentary on the rule also, keep in mind they were there at the rule making process.
