What is the most frequent elevator emergency you encounter. How do you deal with it?

most common is car stuck between floors. Easiest fix is to shut off power, open hoistway doors and assist occupants up or down to closest floor. Then call for elevator repair company to fix it. Hoistway door keys come in a variety of styles. sets of most popular ones are available from fire equipment vendors, but are much cheaper from elevator repair companies.

I Agree stuck elevator is most common rescue but try fire department recall key first it just might work to bring elevator down to first floor.
