How many rescuers use screws vs. nails when installing emergency shoring for collapses?

What size & type do you use?

That would take forever..two Stanley pneumatic stick nailers (N80s)will throw nails like there is no tomorrow!

Actually I like the cordless nailers. No hoses.

The cordless nailgun is called paslode and it works from a battery and a gas cartridge. They work great. And to billy, my department all we use is nails it is alot quicker then screws.

Our USAR team uses pneumatic and piston activated nail guns. We carry a variety of 2" and 3 1/4" nails. We also carry 8 & 16 penny duplex common nails. Remember the best nail in training comes in a black marker. (You can get the nail pattern but you do not have to pull 500 nails when you are done)
