Grants Programs

I am intersted in moderating a grants program for fireservice.
With the 69.5 billion available in grants
from USFA/DOJ it is important that we get the info on how to access these funds.

Hey WebTeam,
Nate/Shadow has a great idea. There are also private foundations that have funding available; the problem is finding out who they are and what areas they specialize in. A forum would help us share this information.

Perhaps we should get a forum setup for grants and possibly get together the resources and programs we need to get these grants and funds. There are literally billions at stake.

Long silence from the WebTeam. You've got a good idea. My suggestion is think up a good Article Title (like: "Grant Programs and Funding Sources for Departments") and post a get started message. I'd suggest the "Fire Politics" forum page as a good page to try.

If it seems to fly and develops multiple subject areas, maybe the Team will notice and give the subject its own heading.
