Fire House Architecture and Building Specs.

Will be building Fire house to house 1977 ALF pumper. 8' wide plus mirrors by 28.5 long. Any one know of information available on Fire Station construction ?

What else are you going to do in the station besides park the ALF?

Sleeping quarters?
Showers?
Cooking?
Meeting hall?
Training room?
Communications?
Gear storage?
Equipment storage?
More apparatus in the future? (20 to 25 year life span for a vehicle, 100 years for a building)
Administrative offices?
Emergency power?
Vehicle repair and maintenance?

These are just some of the considerations beside the size of the apparatus.

You really need to get the input from a architect who has experience designing fire stations.
