I would like some information on hose loads used on quints. Our apparatus is a 1999 KME Aerialcat with a hose bed that has a capacity of 1000 ft. of 5" hose. The hose deploys out of a shoot on the right rear of the truck. Any information on different loads or tricks to laying out, would be helpful.
Thank you,
Gary Brown

Just off the top of my head, I think I would go with a horseshoe type of load. Just my opinion, though

Learn all the jobs, at some point you'll have to do them
Our aerial also has a capacity for 1000 ft of supply with a passenger side shoot. After trying different loads we found a fan type pattern with all couplings being brought over to the far right side so they can come straight out worked best for us.
