New Apparatus Inspection

We are doing a post paint inspection on June 25th of our 105' aerial. Does anyone have helpful hints, tips or a checklist to help us out on that inspection? If you have any other hints or tips to guide us through this process it would be helpful since this is the first aerial our department has ever purchased. Thanks

Take a copy your bid specs/changes and NFPA-1901 along and go through line by line to make sure the vehicle meets them both. Bring a tape measure as well because step height, etc. will require measurement.

The paint job itself needs a good visual from numerous angles to spot drips, fish eyes, overspray and other imperfections that require correction.
