Does anybody know why firehouse stopped the Apparatus Invetory of various Fire Departments and why there was no parting shot in October's issue of Firehouse

I was wondering if I was the only one who noticed no parting shot. I always look forward to the picture, always seems to brighten the day. Hopefully it will be back next month.

I do not remember Firehouse doing to FD spotlights. American Fire Journal used to regularly do spotlights in every issue. I have not seen Firehouse do spotlights other than random and far between.

I'd like to see the old "Firehouse Competition" return. Now that FH is online, answering would be easier...
