I am attempting to find information on a self inspection program for business. The owner or representative would perform a prescriptive inspection annually and submit the form to the Fire Prevention Division. The Fire Prevention Division would perform random inspetions on a percentage of the business participating in the program for complaince.

I have seen these before, but I don't recall where. I'll post it if I find it. This is an interesting idea. My office is currently considering a inspection frequency determination program similar to what Boulder, CO does. This rates buildings based on their life safety factor versus built-in protection systems. We also need an interim inspection form to issue in case inspections are 3 to 4 years apart. As usual, staffing prohibits inspections from being done as needed. I'll look for that form.
