fire prevention for 5th & 6th grades

I'm trying to get ideas on fire prevention for 5th & 6th graders. They get bored with the smokehouse and apparatus display, I was thinking about going more indepth with fire extiguishers, types of fires ect.....

How about using some majic. It takes some practice but it works. It depends on the size of the group. Look around for a local majic shop and let thm know what it is for. They are usually very helpful and will help you get started. Remeber, majicians will only show how the trick works after you pay for it. We use characters and clowns for fire prevention and we throw in some majic to entertain them and ourselves. Got some good pranks for the station with it.
