I'll be starting the Apparatus Operator: Pumper course soon. I'm not very goos with the math and formula things. Does anybody know of a book and where I can get it that can help me prepare somewhat for this course?

I just completed this class not to long ago. With the right instructor, the math and formulas are not real important. At three in the morning with the poop hitting the propeller, the basic friction loss numbers is all you need to know. Dont read too much into the pump operation. Practice is the best formula youll ever need.
