One of our past members lost his son on December 23rd, 2000 in an MVA. I am writing
our newsletter and was looking for scripture or words which would help the brothers in the
halls feel and react to the pain Jim must be feeling.

Any ideas and/or words of encouragement can be responded to here or at
"squamishfirefighters@firehall. com

As President of the Squamish Firefighters
Association (BC, Canada) this is a sad and
awkward moment for me. Any help would be
very much appreciated.
Thank you,

The Lord is my rock and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler and the horn of my salvation and my high tower.

Psalm 18:2

The Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.

Nahum 1:7

For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor powers nor things present or things to come; nor height or depth, nor any creature shall be able to seperate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 8:38,39

Hope these help.

May God Bless you,
Dawn
