I watched the special that "THird Watch
' had on this past Mon. They had some of the FF,Police, EMS,and some of the families of the personal that was lost on 9-11 it was a really good(but heart breaking)show.I did not know that the women who played the female cop on "third Watch" was married to a firefighter in New York. :( I just wish there was more we could do to help all the families.I have been doing alot of praying. God Bless America!!!!

All that stuff hits way too close to home for me to be able to sit and watch.
Although my heart does go out to all of them.

I did fairly well until the female medic told her story at the end and then the scrolling of all the names. I lost it! I had to attend the funeral of a dear friend in April after he was murdered on duty, on station by a co-worker. I thought that was hard; I can't imagine all of the funerals in N.Y. :(

Hey in the_eyeofthestorm,

You have been trough a tough time suffering a great loss and then revisiting it through the horrors of last month. To tell you the truth, the way the harassment and hazing is allowed in our workplace I am surprised that the postman blew his stack before the firefighter. Also surprised that we haven’t seem more of this.

Keep talking… were all family here.
Be sure to take good care of yourself, ok!

Hey ...

My fire department did a boot drive last weekend to raise money for the 9-11 fund that Firehouse has going on. Did a pretty good job for the size of the town I live in. However, I still wish there was more that I could do to help.

I'm w/ you BFD ... I had no idea that woman was married to an NYC Firefighter either. I thought the special was very touching. I'm glad that people were able to talk about other people that were involved.

Our hole county did a boot drive last month we were truely surprized of how good we did too.We had a little boy who had come through the road block with his mom and then made her take him home so he could get his tootties role bank and came back to the road block and gave everything that he had.I almost cried. We took his picture and his name for the paper.
"Third Watch" comes tonight It is suposed to be really good it is the season premeir.Everybody out there be safe.and God bless!!! :D

I wanted to watch that Third Watch so bad but I couldn't. I live in a one-room log cabin without a tv. I even have an outhouse and I have to haul my water in buckets from a community well! I sure miss having a TV and being able to watch important shows - or even the news! I didn't even know about the attacks on America until I went to class late that day!

Hey Michelle Latham that sounds like a dream come tue for me. :D I've always told my husband that I would love to move as far out in the country as we could and raise our kids without any influence from tv or other people. But I would miss my tv.This past Monday's "Third Watch"was really good. They showed how the firefighters were going to ground 0 to work on their time off.The girl firefighter was going hoping to find her father who was missing.Needless to say I cried through the hole show.It was really good.
