Along while back......

well, lets say back in the "old days" we had no pagers. We had a large loud horn. Well it whent of one day while i was in the middle of something with my girlfriend. I didn't catch the "beeps". So i had no clue where it was. So i get in my car, and i hear a cop. So of course, i follow him. Well, ends up he pulls up to the bakery and they where being robbed, no fire there. Here it was a 4 alarm city fire, and i was late, and in the dog house with my girlfriend. I was a line officer. The guys never let me forget that one!!!(my grandpa's story)

HAHAHA That's funny...We also Had the Large Horn..Which sounded like a loud Cow mooing. But When the alarm went in like when someone pulled a box. Everyone would know where the fire was. Like lets say Box 34 It would be MOO MOO MOO...A pause then MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO hahahaha I wish I was alive back then to hear that. Now we have a siren that goes in everytime the box is transmitted. BE SAFE
