TAC-7 operates on a community repeater from atop Honey Hill located in Hopkinton, MA. We are no where as structured as MRS or the other notification networks. We cover both major incidents and incidents that are "below" what the other groups cover. i.e. local fires, MVA without jaws and other smaller incidents that might make it to the local paper but not the Globe or the Herald. Our membership consists of a wide range of people from Fire Fighters to Firebuffs and everyone in between including videographers from the ABC, CBS and NBC stations in Boston. We also have direct ties with both Metro Traffic Control and Smart Routes Traffic in Boston.
