My Company is in the process of refurbishing a 1943 open cab MACK Type 505 Pumper. I am looking for a source of original parts and possibly photos of a 43 MACK Pumper in as near original condition as possible

Wolf- You need to get in contact with a gentleman named Harvey Eckert, he lives in Berwick, Pa. He has authored several books on Mack fire apparatus, in addition to owning several of his own Macks. He can most likely provide a complete history of your piece if you give him the serial number, and I wouldn't be surprised if he had a factory photo of your piece in his collection!!! Also, have you guys tried SPAAMFAA??

Hey Wolf, you can always try a phone book...its an outdated method, but I hear it works well. And, they even put them online now!!!
Hey pal, i am just messing with you. Try www.whitepages.com (http://www.whitepages.com) and search for it. I just did that and found two phone numbers. 717-533-2303(Palmyra) and 717-248-3235(Lewiston). They aren't for the right town, but both are in PA. His town might fall under a different post office if it is small and I think that is how they do those things. They are both for a Harvey Eckert, one is Harvey M Eckert, the other Harvey C Eckert, respective to the phone numbers. Hope this helps.
