1923 Seagraves

The Barstow Firemen's Service Club has a 1923 Seagraves, we need help in getting her running again.
We are having trouble, finding parts & manuals of any type for her.
If there is anyone who can help, Please let me know.

Hey truckie, my department currently has a '42 Seagrave that we are interested in restoring, too. We contacted Seagrave directly and they were able to provide some useful information. We sent them the truck's serial number and they gave us some photo copied shop pics of an almost identical truck. They also sent a parts/inventory list for that particular series (ex-military) of trucks. The parts list is great when you are at the parts store for finding modern, compatible replacements. We found a brand new carbeuorator that is identical to the old one! They might also be able to give the name and address of someone with a similar truck who could offer you some tips or possibly some parts. Hope this helps you out, and make sure to post some pics when she's done!

Thanks for the tip, but we had already contacted Seagraves, and they had no record but who they sold it to.
We contacted L.A. County but they couldn't help because we didn't have their unit number.

You probably know all of these items, but:

-contact SPAAMFAA. They can assist with finding info, parts, and machine shops in your area that can help remanufacture impossible to find items.

-Contact any buff organization in your area, they can network to their members as well as IFBA networks toi find the same info listed above.

Ps- it's a common mistake, many do it, but for some reason, it drives me crazy like running fingernails across a chalk board- it's SEAGRAVE!!! no "s" at the end!!
