new recruit questions

Looking for fresh new questions to ask new hirees in up coming interview process.If anyone has a good question or questions that recruits are asked in their oral interview process please share with me. Thanks for the ones already sent any more ??

Lots of people will come up with questions like "Why do you want to be a firefighter?" and "What will it do to your family life with you being gone for 24 hours at a time?"

I'd ask something that makes the candidate think a little. Something like "You're a First Responder/EMT/Paramedic [whichever your department is] and you're on your way to a chest pain call. On the way you encounter a bad wreck, with obvious severe injuries. Do you stop, or do you radio for another unit to take this, and continue to your original call?"

One question that stumps a lot of people is "What can you bring to the department that we don't already have?"

Where do you see yourself in 3 years?

5 years?

10 years?

Describe a disagreement you have recently had with a supervisor or co-worker.

Response should be like' If there is someone else more qualified'. Occasionally it stumps them.
