Hi all,
I'm trying to put a tactical wildland fire truck together. I would like to find a used slide-in unit complete with foam. I will build my own if I can't find a good deal on one. Does any one have anything or know where I might find one? I'm in Nevada, but will travel. Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
John

Hello,
There is a company in Eugene Oregon called National Firefighter they have almost anything you need for wildland trucks.

Stay Safe and I am sure we will be in Nevada soon,

Do they sell used equipment? Do you have a phone #?
Thanks,
John

I think that its www.nationalfirefighter.com

But not sure, run a search on a search engine for them if that does not work.

Check with the USDA Forest Service and ask about the possibility of acquiring one through the Federal Excess Property Program.
Their URL is http://www.fs.fed.us/fire/planning/fepp/index.shtml
