Yeah that was one hell of a fire!
I have heard of MIT doing testing on the bomb thing, but I dont see how it would work with out hurting someone. Even now when we use Tovex to blow a line you have to have everyone far enough away that no one will get hurt.
But I think that the movie did not help wildland firefighters, and why do they always have smoke jumpers free falling.
There will be a special on wildland firefighters coming up on the Nova network or pbs i think it is.

What a Joke!
I could only take about 20 minutes of that show. I was laughing at the whole thing. Maybe it got better after i turned it off?? Hollywood was way out in left field on this one folks.

Medford, It never got any better. I watched the whole thing thinking it had to but it never did. The old godzilla movies were more realistic than this show.

My wife and I sat down to watch it thinking we were in for a good show. But after the first 20 minutes we laughed the rest of the way through it.
