This is also from USFA's website.

"The application period closed on April 5, 2002. Therefore, applications can no longer be started, completed, or submitted. If you submitted an application, you can read it by logging in using your username and password."

"A series of fire service panels in late April and early May will review the applications and make recommendations to FEMA on grant awards. Beginning this Summer, and continuing into the Fall, all fire departments will be notified of the final status of their grant requests."

Well go to entry page, type in grassvalley and blue333 and come back and tell us what date it was submitted. Then try polaris blue333 tell us what date that was submitted.

Just spoke with FEMA, and they told me that no applications were, or will be accepted after April 5, 2002, regardless of submission via their website.

The website may have accepted it, but they won't review it.

Maybe you better call them.

Well Gee, Steve, did you check the site and type in the password? Did it say it was accepted? FEMA called me too, they accepted it. So look for your self, you'll see the application number, that makes it official sport. GO AHEAD LOOK I DARE YOU< CALL ASK ABOUT THE NUMBER TOO!

Oh, your suggestion the site accepted it, did you try it? Just try submitting an application or creating a new app, tell us what happens seeing as how you are speaking so matter of factly without trying anything.

Write down Polaris and Grass Valley seeif they get awarded a grant in a couple months

USFA has confirmed no grant applications were accepted after the close date. Anything to the contrary would violate the rules of the program and be unfair to those who did meet the deadline.
