Marlborough High School held it's graduation ceremony today. I wanted to take the opportunity to congratulate my son Jon and his classmates Adam and Lindsey, who are children of my fellow firefighters.

Jon and Adam each received a scholarship from the Marlborough Firefighters Union, Local 1714, IAFF/PFFM!

Way to go, kids and good luck in college!

Congratulations to all, and good luck on all future endeavors. Just remember that college isn't just social time. There is some study involved. Some of us forget that for a while. :rolleyes: :cool:

And congratulations to their proud parents. I am sure that they will frequently be reminded, should they decide to go to college, that college is not a bar with a $25,000 cover charge. Best of luck to the graduates in their future endeavors.
