Another major wildfire burns in Colorado. The fire grew
from 5000 acres to 20,000 acres Sunday afternoon alone

And to make a bad thing worse, investigators suspect an
illegal campfire as the cause of the fire.

mtnfireguy is right on the money. An idiot probably caused this fire by carelessness, neglect...whatever...it's just stupid.

Wildfire near Lake George spreads to 30,000 acres

(Lake George-AP) -- A wildfire burning in the Pike National
Forest has spread to 30-thousand acres and is growing about 500
acres an hour.
The fire started near Lake George yesterday and is now burning
in Park, Teller, Jefferson and Douglas counties. Hundreds of homes
are being evacuated.
The fire is now threatening Cheesman Reservoir and is heading
toward Deckers, where a fire burned 38-hundred acres last month. No
structures have burned.
About 120 firefighters, an air tanker and three helicopters are
on the scene. Many more crews are expected.
Fire information officer Mit Parsons says the blaze is growing
very rapidly, fanned by gusting winds.
Authorities say the fire -- which billowed smoke into the Denver
metro area -- may have been started by a campfire yesterday
afternoon.
