Competitive Applications

According to an earlier USFA.FEMA post, the applications considered as "non-competitive" were to be notified in June. Have these notifications been given? Is no news good news?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the non-competitive grants are the ones that went out to such nationally recognized organizations that such as the NFPA or the IAFF Burn Foundation. These monies were part of last year's total $100 million that was to go to such organizations.
