I'm in the process of developing a basic rescue class for the local community college and am looking for suggestions on texts, resources, discounts on equipment, and pics of high/low angle, trench, confined space, water, ice, USAR and auto extrication. This class is for local FD/QRU respondersz and those enrolled in the degree program as a basic "how not to become a victim" class. Thanks!

The MFRI Rescue Technician book is a good general text covering the basics of several types of rescue. For type-specific books, you could look at James Gargan's book First Due Trench Rescue book, Roco's Industrial and Confined Space Rescue. CMC Rescue publishes a couple of texts relating to high angle resce. As far as equipment discounts, many vendors will offer discounts on large purchases. It looks like you've got yourself quite a large project.
