Please let me what you think of them. Good or bad?
I would like to hear your feedback. Here is a
picture of one for reference.
Thanks!!!

Now the question is "what are it's specs?" How much hose can it carry? How much does the pack weigh? Does it have any special features (such as you can uncoil the hose without having to take it off)? Are you planning on having it manufactured or is it already in production?

This particular product was developed in Northern
California by a Firefighter. (not me) It has been in
production for quite some time. Here is what I know-
It holds 200 hundred feet of 1.5 inch hose, works
basicly like an SCBA pak, light weight and easy to
use.
I have used them a while and like them. Ofcouse, some
people dont.

of course some people won't.... i mean, you can't please everyone. now, from what i'm hearing from my fellow FFs, most of them really like this new hose pack mainly because of the similarities between it and the SCBA pack. i haven't used it, but from the feedback i've gotten, i'm rather anxious to try it out

We use a similiar system w/ our wildland packs. Ours just don't have the cool backpack setup, you have to fold the hose right to leave shoulder loops. The way it deploys is great, folding it up sucks!! The other problem is w/ the tie system, but that can be fixed w/ some velcro straps.

ok so the packaging looks interesting but is it only for transporting hose up the line? Or can you deploy hose from the pack while you are walking?
Looks ok for transporting hose but if it doesn't deploy hose it's not really any major use.
Example with some of the local packs used around here (gazner, jarbo) they can be used to transport and deploy hose. more functionality for the buck with little extra stuff to keep track of.
You can carry one Gazner pack and deploy a second one at the same time.
Just my own opinion.

As you can see, there are two tabs. One drops a 100
foot roll as you go. So, yes, you can deploy as you
go. A decent crew can lay a lot of hose with these
paks. They are sweet and work well...
