I am seeking info or links for the topic of structural collapse training. Our dept is in the state of Ohio, and we are trying to include structural collapse as a technical rescue capability. I have been seaching the net and firehouse, but info on this training topic is hard to find. Ideas??? Thanks

Ohio has a FEMA USAR response team. Search the FEMA website. It should lead you to a link to the Ohio Task Force. They can provide you with all the information you will need.

Also try www.specrescue.com . Most of the instructors are FEMA Task Force members from several states (including some Ohio Task Force members). I've taken several of their classes and you won't find a better class anywhere.
