How Much for What????

I have been looking around, but I have not seen any numbers on how much money is available for each category. Any ideas?? Thanks, Stay Safe....

There are no set parameters except these two: At least 5% must be for fire prevention, and no more than 25% can go for vehicles. (I think my numbers are right.)

Those numbers are right. Only the 2000 program had limits for each category, but last year they did away with it, and this year they've kept that theme. Since vehicles don't put out fires, it's felt that more good can be done with training and basic equipment than a pumper. Which I agree with. No SCBA or gear, can't fight a fire with the newest, most loaded down pumper made. So Prevention at a minumum of 5% and vehicles maxed at 25% are the only set amounts.
