Wind Generated Turbines

I have a question on the wind generated turbines. Our fire dept. from Prattsburgh, NY just found out that there will be approx.50 wind turbines to be built in various locations. Does any dept. across the country know a little bit about this issue.
As far as emergency services concern, are there any specialized eqiupment to have in case of an emergency. If so, anyone can send me info at the e-mail address. barry@empacc.net. Any help can be appreciated.

In California they have lots of wind powered turbine. Try to contact a CA dept with turbins in their jurisdiction. Also power company linemen have to learn basic rescue princple for rescuing co-workers. if all else fails contact the CA International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. They could be of assistance.
