Make sure you call the number listed on my first post before Jan. 15th.if you have any questions about your status. Since the sign up does not end til the 15th, you won' hear anything til at least then. I heard March as a possible first testing date, but that's just a rumor. Here is the pay scale for this year. We just signed a new 4 year contract with the city. Start working out now for the agility (CPAT). Don't hesitate to contact me with any questions.

One of my co-workers called the number above. He said it was an automated system. He was curios if any further action on his side was necessary before the 15th. He didn't want to miss out on testing.

Thanks,

(if u see that 'mick' Hanify, tell him the boys in Hobart said "hey")

I do not work for Indy, but I talked to the lady at the human resources division and she said no to me. I faxed an application form back and called to make sure. She told me either one was fine. S, I would say he is ok.

I don't think anything else is needed. They will probably send out letters informing you of a testing date. I have heard March.?? Keep in mind for the testing: Don't be late for any reason, for any parts of the testing process. I have seen people show up from out of town only to be turned away for being a couple of minutes late. If possible, make arrangements to be here the night before. (the test is usually held on Saturdays) Make sure your driver's license is current and any changes in address or contact numbers are forwarded to personel. Start working out NOW!! The CPAT is not easy if you are not prepared. In the past, there have been two interviews. One is a 4 or 5 question deal, and the other is usually 10 questions. Feel free to post more questions if you have them.
