Bridgeport has a history of it. All you are going to accomplish is to convince them to throw out yet another test. Are their hiring practices completly unfair? Yes they are. But you have not really mentioned the things that affect everyone. They moved the ladder climb and hose hoist due to rain. Instead of wasting eveyones time by schedueling another part of the physical before the oral they moved it till after the oral was complete and asked the top 100 on the list to come in for that part of the physical. If you are complaining about this it is simply in a desprate ploy to obtain the job, and frankly I find that pathetic.
Unfortunatly for the rest of us the race card you are pullin has always been a strong one in Bridgeport. I'm hoping it doesn't work for you cuase that would be another 10 people that are jumping ahead of me on the list. I think enough people have done that already with one of the practices that I really do find unfair. I'm tied at number 83 on the list for hire, however had I been a Bridgeport resident I would have been tied at number 9. Do the rest of us a favor, let it play out however its going to play out. In my opinion your lawsuit is rather selfish, and pathetic.

If the Civil Service Commission test requirements set the testing order, then that must be followed. If that requirement states that you must complete both parts of the physical agility test prior to the oral, then that has to be the way it is completed.
You can't be changing the testing requirents on a whim, how are you to maintain standards?
