My son took the test for firefighter near Orlando and was just notified that he was disqualified due to his psychological test. He was caught totally off guard and devastated by this news. He is a working firefighter and I offered to look up what I could on the net, since he is on duty today. I would appreciate any specific info you might have on retesting, because he hesitates to call the human resources people without that. Thanks
You need to be ready for every step of the hiring process including the dreaded psych. Just because you’re a firefighter doesn’t automatically give you a pass. My heart goes out to the too many who have this experience and then have to try and fight their way back in. If Mom could have only looked up the topic on the net before the magic day.
