If you look closely at the first pic, you can see tire tracks leading up to the near side of the bridge, one of which leads right up to the rail of the bridge.

I'm guessing someone had a little bit of liquid courage in them and his buddy bet him he couldn't "ride the rail" all the way across.

I'm saying his buddy won..........
