man, i just started working part time with a private ambulance company.
2 days after i was hired they picked up the contract with the coroner's office here (some luck huh?)
it looks like its gonna get to the point where i'll barely be doing EMS stuff, bc this coroner thing is pretty much using up all our resources
would it look bad if i quit so soon after getting hired? would it look bad to future employers?
the way it works is whenever someone in the county dies our company goes and transports them to the coroner. average 15 runs a day.
homicides, suicides, kids, high profile cases, collect evidence, everything - you name it. they've only been doin it less than 48 hours and one of my co workers is already ****ed up because of it
i'm mainly concerned about not getting the right experience, plus i'm getting paid 8.50 to do this, plus i dont want to start hating life and being depressed all the time plus, PLUS i dont want to get all hardened and start treating my live patients crap.
sooooooooooo would it look bad to future employers if i worked here such a short amount of time? if i didnt even list it would a future dept. be able to see it on a BG check?
