does florida accept ohio's 240 hr firefighter card and the nremt-p?

im a fire/medic student in ohio and i plan on moving to florida when i get out of school and i am trying to plan ahead now. i was wondering if florida accepted the 240 card from ohio and if the nremt-p card transfered. if not what do i have to do to make it transfer?

It is my understanding that if you have an active EMT-P National License, you can challenge the State Test for that certificate.


As far as fire goes...you will have a hard time. It takes oodles a oodles of documentation and the burden of proof that your class is equivalent is up to you. You will need certificates, verifiable training records, class syllabuses and anything you can that documents your training and education.
