Physical testing and maintenance

Looking for information on different pre-employment and on-going physical testing and standards for a non-profit ambulance service. I am interested in any and all programs or just ideas on this.

Does anyone know what the standards are for the medical??I keep getting different responses from the FD, and I need to know what that heart rate number is for a 21 year old. I've heard anywhere from 170 to 180, and i really want to know, i've been training extremely hard and want to pass it. Someone write back if you can help please.
