Cedar Fort receives firefighter grant
CEDAR FORT — The tiny west desert town of Cedar Fort has received one of 329 grants awarded to fire departments throughout the United States by the Department of Homeland Security, according to a news release.
Cedar Fort will receive $32,490 to spend on its emergency medical services operations and firefighter safety. The money can be used to buy equipment, fund health and safety programs, enhance services and conduct education and prevention programs.
