I am attending college to get my certification as a paramedic in addition to a B.S. in Biology. As part of my paramedic program I have to come up with some sort of program of one nature or another. I have chosen a public education topic that I saw in passing somewhere and have been intrigued by. The topic goes somewhere along the lines of what to do if you see an emergency vehicle driving with their lights on. I know I've privately cussed many a driver out for not doing what they should do when I'm in my ambulance and I'm sure the rest of you have done at least that. I'm looking for some ideas or general comments on this if anyone has any. Currently I'm also thinking of actually trying to get my department and/or the county to adopt this or a variation of it. I'm thinking that using tv commercials and/or radio commercials would be a good way of getting the message out. Like I said, if anyone has any comments or ideas please let me know.
