I have been given the task of developing a mentorship program for firefighters once they leave the training academy. I have a lot of ideas on what should be included but my research has found very little information that helps me out. I'm asking for help on finding information on this program .Some my ideas are a year long program after the academy with mentors that guide the new firefighters through the process of station life and learning how to be a good firefighter instead of a 20 year paycheck earning employee. Please if you have any info or guidance I would be greatfull.
