Carbon Fiber SCBA

I am trying to find some information on carbon fiber or kevler wrapped SCBA bottles. I need to know how often they need to be hydrostatically tested. Some have told me every 3 years, other tell me that if they were purchased after or tested January 2003 then it is every 5 years. Does anyone know what the guidelines are? If so do you know where I can get documentations? Thanks

All composite bottles should be hydro tested every three (3) years. Also they have a recommended lifespan of fifteen (15) years. Aluminium (and steel) are tested every five (5) years with lifespan as long as the botttle passes.

All new Scott carbon cylinders only have to be tested every (5) five years. And yes they only have a 15 year live span.;)
